"From the moment we got there the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room to me was exactly as described! READ and look at pics before you book! The room is very open with virtually no privacy when taking a shower. To me, it was part of the fun, but I wouldn't recommend for people that have an issue with that. I was in the super saver room which was plenty of room for what we were needing. Beautiful view to the restaurant and pool with large windows that could easily be converted to "blacked out" mid day if you enjoy afternoon naps. Venture over half a block to the Melrose Arch Center as ALL restaurants we tried were FANTASTIC. MILSHAKES FROM THE MILSHAKES BAR ARE A MUST! If you read the discription and look at the pics, you'll know what to expect... If anything, it will be better than you thought!"

"From the welcoming friendly staff to the spacious rooms, your stay at this hotel will be a pleasure. Rates are reasonable and the rooms are really very spacious. Although on a busy road, the double glazed windows more than adequately block out the sounds. Conveniently positioned close the the main shopping and entertainment areas of Sandton, Hyde Park, Melrose and Illovo. Right opposite the Wanderers stadium, so equally well positioned if you are a cricket fanatic."

"This hotel was worthy of the 5 Star rating simply because of the excellent Customer Service. The spacious rooms, pool and courtyard areas were also outstanding & of 5 star quality. I think every room overlooks the pool area which is really pleasant. Jason ,the Duty Manager was exceptional with his PR .He went out of his way in assist with some personal health issues. Timothy , provided excellent service at the bar and restaurant. Unity the barista ,provided exceptional service and makes the best cappuccino in Joburg. Will stay AGAIN next time in Joburg."
