Seri Resort Gili Meno
Gili Meno,Gili Meno - View on map
"We stayed at Seri for four nights. We walked around all of Gili Meno and Seri Resort is by far the best resort on the island. Even more, it might be one of the best resorts in the Gilis. Here's why: 1. The staff. Good customer service is the key to enjoying a resort and the staff here were beyond friendly; they were attentive. I lost my sandals, they saw I was looking for something, asked me, and found them for me. They learned our names by the second day. Every request was fulfilled. 2. The food is great. Seri has a relatively distinct menu. The menus of other places on the island are all the same (pastas, burgers, fried rice, pancakes, and sandwiches). Seri offers amazing snapper fish tacos for 60k, GREAT mahi mahi for 90k, really good quesadillas, and a handful of good options for the included breakfast. 3. The facility is beautiful. By a mile, Seri has the most beautiful building on the island. It is beach front and at night it is lit up and quite stunning. The three floors of porches and fans resemble a creole style architecture. The $30-40 a night backpacker beds are peaceful, comfortable, and come with spacious lockers. They provide daily bottled water and a jug and ladle by the bed to wash the sand off your feet before climbing into bed! We had no problems with Mosquitos. The more expensive villas looked beautiful and had great patios with big daybeds. Bed was great! 4. Location: The beach is beautiful. It is close to several restaurants, should you decide to eat off the resort. It is also a 10-15 minute walk from the Blue Marlin dive shop. They offer $35 dives!!! And $45 night dives. I swam with six huge sea turtles in a single dive. Great staff there too. 5. Atmosphere. I don't think they even offer two bedroom villas, so they are really encouraging couples. No babies crying and the youngest kid was a teenager. This is a peaceful resort, keep that in mind! Not a party hotel! Really, Gili Meno isn't for partying, that's Gili T Hope this helps! "

MAHAMAYA Resort Gili Meno
Gili Meno,Gili Meno - View on map
"We spent almost 3 weeks in Bali and Lombok, and our trip to Mahamaya on Gili Meno was the highlight for us for sure. The rooms were super clean, comfortable and a good size. The price included free bikes, snorkeling gear and kayaks, and an la carte breakfast was plentyful, and there was a buffet of fruit, yogurt, and Indonesian food if the a la carte menu did not satisfy your hunger. The restaurant is located in front of the hotel right on the beach, and has the most spectacular, unobstructed view for sunset drinks and dinner. The food was at an extremely high level, and among the best that we had during our 3 week trip. There are two pools located behind the hotel, in the courtyard surround by rooms. A great spot to relax under an umbrella in the shade. The staff went above and beyond, and I mean all the staff, from reception, to restaurant staff, to housekeeping. Everyone in the hotel addressed us by our names, and the whole experience was personal. This kind of attention to detail is what puts Mahamaya above and beyond the other boutique hotels in Gili Meno which we visited for food. We had 3 short nights here, and our only regret is that we didnt stay longer. We were worried we would get bored on the island, but the beach and hotel lends itself to relaxing, with the option of grabbing a bike, kayak or snorkeling equipment to explore both on and off land. There is a small coral reef only meters from the beach and hotel which and non-confident swimmer can access. The water is crystal clear and you can even stand quite far out for those who are not confident in the water. As you can see, we enjoyed ourselves. "

"Unfortunatley the pool was brown/green and had to be emptied, so we couldnt swim during our stay. The lunch menu looked interesting, but we were told nothing was available, except for fried noodles or rice. It was a hot walk to go to another cafe for lunch."

Birumeno Beach Bungalow
Gili Meno,Gili Meno - View on map
"Perfect location directly at a nice beach - I loved the hammock under the trees looking on the beach! Nice bed - simple bathroom with only cold saltwater (only disadvantage we thought). Easy to walk from the harbour if you have backpacks - for suitcases rather take a donky taxi. Overall we enjoyed our stay! Diving with Gili Meno divers next door (SSI certificated dive school) was excellent and is highly recommended if you take classes or just fundive)"

Les Villas Ottalia Gili Meno
Gili Meno,Gili Meno - View on map
"Booked the Deluxe Villa- (twin bedroom - one single = 3 bed?) because it was private enclosed courtyard with garden pool. (and beyond all hours racket from Gili T) Didn't disappoint . Perfect, quiet, lovely, clean. Gili Meno not your standard tropical island- extensively damaged, large undeveloped areas, rural charm, nice locals, no cars or motors, horsey cabs. Private boat or public ferry needed to access to G Meno from G Air or G Trawangan as fastboats can't/won't dock there so go to Air or T if you want lots of people and hustle. Good restaurants scattered around GM coast. Bicycle recommended for daily use. Torch needed after sunset drinks and meal as paths are dark at night. Pak Man warung in centre of island looks like a dump but best food. Adeng Adeng best pizza in Indonesia - big call I know. . Little Bali a real gem - all close to VO. Overall, I would go back to Villas Ottalia GM again and again and again...."

Meno Mojo Resort
Gili Meno,Gili Meno - View on map
"The view of Meno mojo is incredible, it also not far from the harbour, 5-7mins walk I think. The pizza is so good, we love it to the max. The staffs are very friendly and commited. Only thing is the breakfast which is limited to continental which is one two slices of breads, but the fresh juice and fruits do compliment it. Overall we like our stay in meno mojo and definitely will go back next time."

Karma Reef

"We stayed in a Bungalow and really enjoyed our rather large bamboo house! The staff were all friendly and helpful. A few items to note: The food was good, but not amazing and a bit pricier than many other restaurants on the island. We quickly learned that most services at the hotel were a bit overpriced. (everything is so cheap compared to the US dollar - but relative to other places on meno) The "hotel" layout basically consists of 10 bungalows, then the reception/restaurant and then the tent accommodations (the spa is also in a tent). The whole property is very long and narrow right up against the ocean with the main gili meno "road"/walkway running through it. There isn't really much of a beach (i.e. no sand to lay out on) but there are lots of comfy lounge chairs/beds right along the water and a few spots where you can access the ocean -- which is incredibly beautiful and crystal clear. We went to Gili Meno to get away from noise and crowds, but unfortunately with the lay out of this hotel there was a lot of foot traffic from other folks and locals staying on the island. No place was crowded per say but things weren't necessarily quiet. Our bungalow was also right next to the reception so it was often loud in the evenings with music or people at the restaurant. If i went back to Gili Meno i may want to try another hotel for a new experience, but the bungalows are quite impressive and we enjoyed ourselves very much."

Kura Kura Resort
Gili Meno,Gili Meno - View on map
"We chose this hotel because its brand new and we wanted to spend our honeymoon on a luxurious hotel which was not this one. Standard hotel, good airc and space in, fridge and a safe box. That's pretty much it. The breakfast was a buffe, standard with different choices. The dinners was good, better than average but expensive for gilis. The staff was not trained in waiting or speaked english so every 5 minutes the girls would come up and ask if we where finishes with our breakfast/dinner, so annoying when we obviously were still eating. One of the receptionist could speak English and she was very nice and helpful but that was pretty much it. Massages was not either that great, one if the girl seemed to have experience, the thicker girl. The hotel is RIGHT on the harbor so every morning there's a pack people in front of the hotel and were we eat breakfast shuttling on boats back and forth. The hotel was also reconstructing the front end of the hotel early in the mornings the first of our 3 days so every morning, banging and drilling. Not pleasant at all. Karma reef hotel was our first choice but fullbooked, it's 100 m away from the harbor with the same price and with a luxurious feeling to it and with especially, trained staff. I wouldn't stay at Kura Kura again. Thank you for the stay though. "

"Absolutely loved the private pool villa at Avia, and the beach out front is amazing, with a beautiful sunset view and swimmable ocean. The staff are amazingly friendly, and the food is great. Probably one of the best places to stay in Gili Meno considering the location, service, food and value. Hotel made the stay feel like a honeymoon. Loved it!"
