Loved all of it!”
This is a rather strange place. It almost felt a bit like the movie The Shining. This place is huge, with many longhouses, but with only a few guests. We shared the open hallway to our room with a few sleeping bats, how awesome! We loved how secluded it is. There is nothing happening anywhere around you. Food is a bit pricey though and the quality differs a lot per chef. Quite often they run out of some ingredients or alcoholic beverages (some regulars we spoke just always took their own wine with them, after experiencing this regularly, lol). There is barely an internet connection - only at the reception desk you are able to send out some messages. The trips that they offer are also in the expensive side. The pool is great and the environment is just beautiful. You will hear so many sounds from nature without any sounds from traffic. The views are spectacular. We could have spend a week here, easily! It was a bit of a journey to get there, but it was absolutely worth it!

This place is beautiful and it is definitely a hidden gem. A very nice place to relax and be stress free and just enjoy your time there. The view is very beautiful. The staffs were also all very friendly. The facilities were okay but there is only a slight problem with the AC in our room that day. Not to forget the food is also delicious. Overall its a wonderful experience

Quiet place to rest in the middle of nowhere”
Very pleasant and quiet place to stay and have a rest for 1 or 2 nights. But this can not be a basis to visit Batang Ai national park. Activities/excursions proposed by the resort (not in the national park) are a bit overpriced.

Overpriced hotel in the first stages of decay”
If I'd known. I'd never have gone there... You pay a lot for the room (we had the suite), but the service is not up to par. If you book, you think that the shuttle service from Kuching is included.. well, it's not. We paid the room price for the two nights again for the shuttle service provided by the hotel. Mind you, it was an uncomfortable and bumpy 5 hour(!) drive!! When you go there to see any animals, culture or anything.. it just isn't there! There's absolutely nothing interesting there. It is a quiet retreat on an artificial lake you're not allowed to swim in. This place was once managed by Hilton, everything that still works and has some style is from that era. Now the Aiman group just tries to do everything by cheapest means possible and you'll know it. Pity.

Haunted house”
Pros - Lakeview is quite nice and thats it Cons - facilities not well maintained, dirty swimming pool, outdated room facilities with old TV with no reception at all, No wifi in rooms, mediocre food, no buffet breakfast and only few choices available. Overall, not worth the rm200++/night price tag!!!

Will go again that's for sure”
This was my first time back in the Lubok Antu district since 1964. At this resort you get what you pay for, and in large helpings. The staff were particularly helpful in many ways far outside their "official" duties. Just do remember that this is a quite remote facility and is giving the unfamiliar a taste of 'jungle living.' If you seek absolute luxury head for Hawaii; but for as close as you will get to reality I hope they see you soon.

Beautiful scenery in the wilderness ”
We had been in Lubok Antu before the Btg Ai Dam was constructed. in 1989. So this visit is sentimental to us. The beauty of the lake created by the dam is quite baffling. We enjoyed our visit here very much.

Retreat away from the world”
This is really a good place with nice view and peace. I really enjoyed my time there for two full days. The staff are very nice and helpful. The only issue is that the resort too far away from the airport and city. The shuttle bus Hilton provides is much more expensive than the private which i found myself. Conclusion, I hope I can go there again, however, I will choose the private bus from local people.

Good place to unwind”
The resort is beautifully situated in the midst of lush jungle in the middle of a man-made lake. It has a very relax atmosphere and stunning sunset view. The staff are friendly and the food isn't bad. The rooms and facilities are old. I had to change room on my first night because the AC wasn't functioning properly. And there were several power outage during a storm. The only disappointment was the tour. We joined the longhouse tour and the canopy walk, but the guides were just going through the motions, with minimal to no explanations.

Bad Value for Money”
Old Resort, the price is very expensive (rooms, food, tour and the transport from Kuching). The location is amazing and it's an extraordinary experience but the Resort should be modernise for the request price.

Great place for relaxation and personal time, nothing more.”
Peace and quite place apart where lots of tourist groups coming in. Do travel light with backpack as you need to carry your bag up from the jetty to the main lobby or vise versa and your room allocated may be some what a distance to walk from the lobby. Still, it's great way getting more calories burn and stay fit. Hotel building construction using wood material has suffered termites attacks but they do employed pest control to kept them at bay. Small animals like squirrels, bats, gecko and birds are your good friends. Great place for those who enjoy fishing and outdoor BBQ pit with their catch. Only swimming pool available and no spa. Hotel do have outdoor activities ranging from small to pricey fee charged. You can even have team building in their small obstacle course. Lots of greens around and the view to the lake is just spectacular in morning and evening. Food was nice but table reservation for us was somehow got bum out for others even when the signage RESERVE has been written with our room number.
