we've taken numerous holidays, and this was one of the better ones. the staff went out of their way to make our trip run smoothly, the location was unbeatable, the rooms were immaculate. wifi was a bit unreliable, but only a fraction of the time. mostly it was fine. even enough to watch netflix while getting ready! haha the nightly movies on the beach were a nice, unexpected benefit. there was more then enough to keep us both occupied the entire 10 days we were there. at no time were we bored or feeling ill at ease. the pool was kept perfectly clean. every morning they completely scrubbed it and constantly checked the chemical levels to keep it at optimum enjoyable levels. we will definitely return. probably not soon, but it will happen! thanks to the entire staff, from the boat crew, waiters/waitresses, my new 'best friend' who did out laundry, reception staff and kitchen workers. you made it a wonderful christmas/new year's holiday!!

What to wish for more when you wake up in the morning on a private island resort and eat your breakfast in front of the emerald waters? The staff is trully like a family, Adang Family:), helping each others with the tasks and taking care of the tourists' needs. They paied a high attention to our needs and offered a lot of complimentary treats that you don't find normally in a 3 stars hotel: free kayaks, free long tail boats to & from Koh Lipe 3 times per day, fresh water refill in the rooms daily, etc. When we left the resort, they took us with the long tail boat on a 20 minutes ride to the point where we were supposed to take the ferry, free of charge even though it was not in their schedule. At Adang we really relaxed and had a peaceful sleep without any noise, except the birds.:)) Which are, by the way, fantastic! I kept the best for the last: I fell in love with the "reading pavilion" which is in front of the beach, an open air space with tatami on the wooden floor.

Exceptional stay at Adang Resort”
We spent 5 blissful days at Adang Resort. The staff was amazing and you get so much for what you pay. Free snorkeling equipment to use, beach towel, kayak and 5 star service. Not to mention the awesome pool and the free shuttle service back and forth to Koh Lipe. The national park is right next door and can be reached via kayak in about 10 minutes. It's also a great spot for snorkeling so If you're looking for relaxation on an actual private beach, Adang is the place to be. If we go back again, we would definitely stay there. Unlike Koh Lipe, there are no stray dogs running around on the beach and we didnt have to deal with a multitude of long tail boats parked right in front of the resort. Overall, we were very satisfied with our vacation there. Nok and her staff are awesome.

Koh Adang Resort...beyond my expectations. The place, the price, the staff. Me & my wife were speechless with all those things. This place is great for couples & family. Kayak? Free. Snorkeling nearby resort? Free. Transfer (Lipe-Adang-Lipe)? Free. Swimming pool & open air library available all the time. Trekking, hiking & small waterfall? Just behind the resort. Their foods were great too (for me & my wife) with great price. Oh, they do have "movie time" around 7pm while enjoying your dinner at the restaurant. The front office guy, Mr. Clark once told us, "Feel free to do anything here, like your own place". Thank you Koh Adang Resort. Made our honeymoon UNFORGETABLE.

Fantastic ”
Really lovely hotel, all staff are really kind and helpful. Many spoke good English and could assist with all I asked. It is a beautiful place, really peaceful and quiet. The pool is large and overlooks a nice beach, there is also a very close nearby beach accessible by long tail boat. The sea just in front of the hotel is full of coral and loads of fish, fantastic for snorkelling. Monkeys can be seen every morning around 7-8am around the restaurant. I came with my 2 year old son and all staff were fantastic with him! The hotel was great for travelling with a child.

Honeymoon Happiness ”
We picked the right place for our honeymoon! The service was over the top, complete with flowers on the bed, candle light dinner by the beach, and a surprise dessert to help us celebrate being newly married. The food was delicious, the beach was super quiet and private. The water is so clear, the animals so numerous - being in nature is the best! Free kayaks and snorkels and hiking trails make this all the more enjoyable. The sunsets and sunrises were both great to kayak out and watch from the water. Thank you for such a memorable visit! 😄

Fantastic place, Nok, Gla and all the staff are so kind and helpful. Big breakfasts, stunning location, movie nights on the projector, big cocktails, much cleaner than Lipe and the best of all is Dog, the dog. Definitely going back.

Amazing resort and great staff ”
Everyone we spoke to were extremely helpful. The island is incredible and so peaceful. It’s absolutely no trouble getting over from Lipe as they have regular shuttles between the two islands which are free. We had left an item behind when we checked out and they happily brought it over for us onto lipe on their next shuttle. This hotels not too be missed if staying on Koh Lipe.

We loved staying at Adang Island Resort -- The rooms were nice, and the staff were really lovely :) It's a nice quiet location away from the busienss of Koh Lipe, and is easily accessible with the free boat taxis (4 times a day) provided by the hotel. Not five star but great value. The location and beach are superb and the staff are great. This is a very private island resort offering peace and tranquility. Free long tail boats shuttle to Koh Lipe but we used them little prefering to stay on Koh Adang. We will visit again.

Dream spot for active retiree”
I am active 68 year old solo traveler and this place is perfect. Great jungle and small mountain hiking starting right behind my cabin. Great pool with comfortable adjustable recliners. Amazing snorkeling at every beach right from shore. No having to join a group and ride in a mini van to somewhere cool. Room good, staff wonderful. Miss a refrigerator and wish the had better kayaks but that's life. Oh ya and National Park Campgound and Huge isolated beach a 25 minute jungle hike away.

Pros: - Beautiful and clean bungalows - Calm and quiet compared to the neighbouring loud Koh Lipe - Extremely helpful and nice staff - Movies at the beach - Good breakfast - Free transportation to and from Koh Lipe with the last boat leaving at 8:30 PM from Koh Lipe - Nice pool Cons: - Beach not so beautiful - Can get quiet isolating as you dont have as much space to move around as in Koh Lipe - No 7elevens or atm on the island. Overall amazing stay! If you like a remote, peaceful and quiet island, this is for you.

A very clean resort, staffs are cleaning it like their own home. Fast check in & fast check out process. 5 mins of boat ride beside main island koh lipe, boat transfer is free of charge by using Adang Resort own long tail boat. Staff is very friendly and helpful in fulfilling our requests. They even play volley ball together with guests :)
