Hotel de Castiglione

"The hotel location is in the middle of the shopping area with lots of designer shops e.g. Hermes, Chanel, Ferregamo, Prada etc. It also closes to Champs Elysees and Lourve. The staff are friendly. However, the hotel is quite old. The bedroom size is fine. The elevator is rather small. It fits for only 5 people at a time."

Hotel Chavanel

"The location of hotel is just great and close to auber and Madeleine station, and easy to reach shopping malls like Galeries Lafayette and Printemps. Supermark monoprix is near as well. 10mins to go to Champs-Elysees. The staff all speak English and all are friendly. But the lady didn't inform me how to type the wifi password so I need to go down reception and ask if it's captain or lowercase letter. Everything is good definitely will come back again."

Exe Paris Centre Hotel

"We enjoyed our stay there. The hotel is located one RER station from Magenta which is the station for Gare Du Nord. If you are traveling with Eurostar, it's very convenient. The hotel is also located on the shopping district of Hausmann where you will find two main departmental stores and many shops. It's about 30 mins walk to Champ Elysees. Overall the location is great. The room is very modern and comfy. The only downside is that the room temperature cannot be controlled and it could be very hot in the room even in the winter. Otherwise the room is clean and comfortable. We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on the food. The hotel is highly recommended. "

Le Regence Hotel
8th - Champs Elysees,8th - Champs Elysees - View on map
"Le Regence is within walking distance from most of the sights in Paris! From the hotel, we were able to walk to Moulin Rouge (5mins), Champs Elysees (15mins), Sacre Coeur (15mins)! Hell, we were even able to walk to the Louvre and Musee D'Orsay, though that took slightly longer. The location is definitely great, even though it may be a little hard to find on the first try. There's also a supermarket just beside, where we got our neccesities from. The hotel service is decent I would say, nothing that impresses me nor was there anything I would complain about. The front desk is pretty friendly and helpful too. The wifi, however, was not free when we visited (10EUR for 3 days) and breakfast was not provided. The rooms too, are relatively small. Pretty small in fact, but if like us, you are just travellers who are looking for just a bed to sleep on and an accessible hotel, this is it!"

New Hotel Saint Lazare

"The facilities seemed very old, the elevator and the room is the smallest ever. The location is pretty good. Staff was efficient. I'm glad I haven't lost anything. Definitely doesn't seem like a three-star hotel, but what more can I ask for, it is quite cheap to be fair. "

Hotel Colisee
8th - Champs Elysees,8th - Champs Elysees - View on map
"Stayed in this hotel to enjoy the countdown to 2018. On the eve to new year's day, security was everywhere and the metro doesn't stop on the stations along Champs Elysee. this can be understood. SO we had to walk quite a distance back to the hotel. Upon reaching the hotel, nobody was there to open the door, and we were really tired and sweaty from the walk. Finally the receptionist came to open the door for us to get in. I was looking forward to a warm shower. BUT THERE WAS NO HOT WATER!!! The water was freezing COLD and its really not possible to shower. I called the front desk only to be told not to shower if its too cold. I informed him that this is the second day I would going without shower as there was no hot water even the day before. (First night i put up) He then said he would get someone to fix the problem, but gave no commitment if the issue would be resolved. I tried to get a commitment from him but he didn't. This is the worst place. Total lack of basic amenity! "

Hotel Plaza Elysees

"well to begin with I didnt stay at the Plaza eleyees hotel. I picked this hotel because of the location and had booked a good 2 weeks prior to arrival. but when i reached there I was informed that they had been over booked and they moved me to a hotel called Lord Byron!! But I was pleasantly surprised with the Lord Byron hotel, the location of this hotel is even better, it is right behind the Lido theatre on champ eleyees. the rooms and bathroom are rather large for paris standard. The hotel has a nice old charm about it and the breakfast is simple. All in all it was a good stay at the lord Bryon hotel and would recommend this 3 star hotel."

More about 8th - Champs Elysees

The Champs-Elysées is an elegant avenue that stretches through the 8th arrondissement from the Arc de Triomphe to the Egyptian obelisk on Place de la Concorde: the largest square in Paris, with fantastic vistas in every direction. With its luxury shops, cinemas, cafés, and horse-chestnut trees, Champs-Elysées is one of the most prestigious shopping boulevards of Paris and one of the most famous streets in the world. The lower part is bordered by greenery, open-air markets such as Carré Marigny and by buildings such as the Théâtre Marigny and the Grand Palais.

The Élysée Palace – home to the President of the French Republic – is slightly to the north, and not on the avenue itself. The Champs-Élysées ends with the Arc de Triomphe, commissioned by a victorious Emperor Napoleon and recognized around the globe as a symbol of Parisian pomp and elegance. This upscale neighborhood is in fact quite diverse with a large number of affordable tea rooms, bakeries, bars, restaurants. Nightlife in the 8th is exceptional, and it is home to the world-famous Buddha Bar, among other establishments.

Accommodation options range from boutique hotels to some of the most prestigious and palatial hotels in Paris. U2, The Rolling Stones, and Madonna are regulars at The George V, while Jay-Z stays at the Plaza Athénée and Duke Ellington preferred the Hotel de la Trémoille. Hotels in the 8th arrondissement are close to the city centre, and many of Paris’ greatest attractions.
