Romantic weekend trip”

We stayed in a cottage at 7SEAS and had a wonderful 2 days exploring the island and the surrounding waters. The location was absolutely perfect, plenty of lovely bars and restaurants around and only a short walk to see both sunrise and sunset! The staff were fantastic; really friendly and helpful and provided a wonderful service and the accommodation itself was very clean and beautifully decorated. Also, the included breakfast was great value and right on the sand. I'd definitely stay with 7SEAS again when I come back to Gili Air!

Best breakfast, great location ”

I stayed at 7Seas for two nights in a regular room (not a bungalow). The best part about 7Seas is the breakfast. You get to eat at Kenza which is a brunch spot with amazing food in front of the hotel and overlooks the ocean from the south of the island. Kenza also offers yoga which is super convenient. The location is great- the harbour is a two minute bike ride away but far enough away that it isn’t too busy. In the other direction., you have tons of places to chose from on the east side of the island for food, drinks and snorkeling. The room was nice, bed was comfortable (firm). The bathroom was ok but served it’s purpose. Would stay again but would probably check out the bungalows :)

Friendly Staff and Lovely Bungalow”

I booked 4 nights bungalow at 7SEAS Cottages, however, when arriving at the hotel, the staff told me only 3 nights available for bungalow. Therefore, I have to stay at the twin superior room for 1 night. I have made a full payment for bunglow by credit card before my arrival, the hotel informed me they will return the overpaid fee for me. Overall speaking, the staff are really friendly and helpful. The hotel offers bike rental with good quality and cheaper price compared to other local rentals. The breakfast is wonderful as guests could sit comfortably to enjoy healthy style food with ocean view. The electricity supply is quite stable here as well. But during 1 night there were like hundreds of flying ant invaded my bungalow (like tornado...). It was a scary experience and it took 30 mins for staff to kill and remove those flying ant. If you are afraid of insects, maybe you should think twice before booking. If you don't mind, it is really a good place to chill!

Cosy, spacious cottage with private bathroom attached. Very clean (the staff cleaned once a day and also changed towels). Sadly, the Wifi was not working very well, but you wont have enough time to hang around the internet anyway, als Gili Air is beautiful. I really liked their breakfast. You can choose between 3 options and enjoy your breakfast with view on the open ocean.

it was ok....but”

Me and my other half are pretty pleasant about this hostel but there were few things with staff that made us feeling not so good. On the last morning we left there was suppose to be receptionist to guide us to our private boat but nobody were there... we went to ask and find our boat on our own and it was bit stressful cause we had also early flight to catch but we made it. Few similar things happend with restaurant staff but nothing too bad just something what bothers you. Example they brought other food instead of what we ordered and they were sorry saying "please can you just take this one please please." Or when we ordered lime juice they pour orange to our glasses in front of us saying sorry we dont have lime and gave orange without asking what we would take instead of lime. We had wonderful time at gili air and we had nice holiday after all in 7seas. And very good place to eat in gili air "PIZZA CLASSICO" italian pizzeria with so amazingly tasty pizzas and so nice owners. Worth to visit.

Great stay ”

We so enjoyed our stay here! We were between the individual cottages and bungalows, due to the price we stayed in the bungalows and so glad we did, the sea view was one of the best we have had day or night! The rooms were spotless! The pool was large and a great area to keep cool, the next door dive place does pool dives here so sometimes during the day you can expect them to be in pool, not for long though. The breakfast was great, in the restaurant next door, you chose what you wanted off a menu, with so much choice. The location was great! So close to harbour, atm, shops, laundry all right outside and so many great restaurants also so close, where you can have diner on the beach! The only minor issue we had was during our stay there was no WiFi in the rooms, not the end of the world, we just did all our planning etc at the pool or restaurant were it was strong, this however was fixed the night before we left so may not affect people in the future. Staff were all super nice!

Comfortable cottages”

We stayed 2 nights at 7Seas and we really enjoyed it. The bungalows are well maintained and facillities are good. We liked the outside bathroom and you can choose from 5 different breakfasts which is also very nice. The cottages are located directly on the " main" path, so it can a little bit noisy. The people working in the restaurant are kind, but they should pay more attention to the bills per table as they always forget half when you want to pay which is quite annoying. As they will always come back to you later to pay the rest.

Pretty Nice Place”

We enjoyed our stay at 7SEAS Cottages. The dinner food was quite tasty, however, the breakfast left you wishing for more. Often times they were 'sold out' of certain ingredients and considering the price it was listed at (although it was included in our room booking) 80,000 Rp is way too much. The location is great as you can get anywhere on the island within minutes- the harbour is close by and so are some great restaurants and hang-out places. The rooms were relatively clean and we appreciated the mosquito net and the fridge. Overall a nice stay there.

Easy to access, friendly staff, amazing place”

Stay there for 3 days in one of their cottage room, spacious room, cool toilet, easy to access, near to the port.friendly staff. The food is so-so, identical to rest of the Resto around Gili Air. But the juice is fresh. Lots of insect in our room, but its ok. step away from the beach although it will be awesome if the room have direct access to the beach.

Good location, good rooms”

Great little beach directly in front of the 7seas restaurant, great location on the island as well, short walk from the pier and right on the main corner of the island. Got a dodgy little gym that did the trick for me, and had a really nice pool.

Poor essentials, not worth it”

I'm not a needy traveler, but there are three things that I consider essentials - a nice bed and blanket (obviously), at least some kind of wi-fi connection (I work remotely) and an electric kettle (to keep myself pleasantly caffeinated during my working sessions). 7seas failed to deliver on all three. The bungalow itself is huge, but it's very dark. Those two things combined make it seem almost dungeon-like. The bed was uncomfortable and there was no duvet only a thin piece of cloth that some hotels consider a comfy-enough blanket. Both my girlfriend and I struggled to get some sleep there. The wi-fi was only in theory, I got a weak signal sitting in the porch, however the signal was non-existent sitting by the desk. Furthermore, I had no phone connection in the room either. The bathroom was nice and as huge as the bungalow itself, however there's a bamboo pipe instead of a shower head, which is not functional at all. The water was out every time we wanted to take a shower and each time we had to report to the reception to fix it then wait then try again. The thing that we liked the most was the view from the cafe where they serve breakfast and the cafe is not even a part of the hotel. All in all, it's not worth it, look for a better option, Gili Air has plenty of them.

Love 7Seas”

1. Located by the main road. Our room was opposite the cafe / facing the sea. Close by to the restaurants, dive shops and etc and walking distance from jetty. No way you will miss it. Then again, the island is a small island. 2. Basic clean room with mosquito net and outdoor toilet. We checked it. Our cottage have outdoor "couch, table with umbrella for tea. Con: no kettle or tea for us to make in the room, no floor mat (only provided with towel), no shampoo and soap. 3. For the more expensive room i paid in Gili Trawangan, the breakfast was tiny. The breakfast here came in a set of fruit juice, coffee or tea and main meal. Although the coffee is bad but the serving is generous. The cafe offered great sea view. Staff is really not so enthusiastic about offering any assistance.

Relaxing stay on a beautiful island”

Despite this hotel being over our usual budget we really enjoyed our stay here. The bungalow was beautiful and just a few steps away from the beach. We loved having breakfast in our little private garden and the outdoor bathroom was fun! The only thing we would say is that the front gate should really have a padlock on it as we had a drunk man break into our garden and try to get into our house one night which gave us a bit of a scare. Also the restaurant staff could be improved as they don't seem interested in serving you, you have to go to them if you want anything. But other than that our stay here was perfect! Gili Air is amazing!

Nice stay”

We had a really nice stay at 7Seas. The place is perfect and the bungalow was really nice and friendly furnished! All in all we can recommend a stay there.

An amazing place”

We got the family cottage and was so impressed by the architecture and our fenced in private yard area. We had two patios, a huge bathroom, and two stories with a large vaulted ceiling. The restaurant and beach were just across the dirt path. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They even waited for us at the dock and helped us arrange a horse and buggy to take our things to the hotel. Everything about this place was impressive.

Very good”

The dorm rooms are funky, there is one bunk bed, and then a double in a loft, the upper bunk is hard to climb up into because the loft protrudes out over the top bunk, which is just sorta weird. The rooms are pretty warm, there are two fans, but they only really help for the people in the bunk beds, the woman who slept in the double said she didn't feel much air up in the loft, but I was on the lower bunk, and it was okay for me. The walls aren't super thick, so if you've got a loud group of people, the noise carries. In the bathroom/shower area, there's a communal laundry rack to hang wet/damp clothes on, which is smart and really handy. There isn't a very social vibe; the rooms have a max of 4 people, and the reception area is set up more like a resort/hotel, which just isn't conducive for meeting people. Overall, I got a really good deal through Agoda, so it was by far the cheapest place for me to stay on the island, but I think it'd be nice if there were more of a relaxing place to sit. Luckily it's really close to the beach, so there are places you can go to relax elsewhere. Overall, for the price, it's a pretty good deal, and probably totally great if you're traveling with someone, or with a small group.

Budget bliss”

I had a very pleasant stay here at 7seas. The staff was attentive and professional when there was confusion booking online. The rooms are extremely decent for the price on a backpacker budget. The bathrooms are shared in the dorms, but they all have separate doors to close and lock. The beach is literally across the way. The pool was wonderful and not many people used it at the time I visited. The only advice is to make sure you get your 150,000rps deposit back when you check out. I have a feeling they like to make some money off of people forgetting it;) As far as good goes, your right in the middle of the good stuff. I stayed for 6 nights and learned that scalawags is a rip off and never land is wonderful. As well as chill out beach club:)

family cottage: good”

+working air con +nice outdoor bathroom with satisfying shower +clean room +well maintained facilities +gr8 food +good service (they gave us nice cool complimentary drinks, we went snorkeling around gili islands, then they helped us order a cidomo ride) +location is near to restaurants (nearest is scallywags) and sunrise point also not that far from harbour. +vibe's calm and cool -super thin blankets -lights are a little too dim -toilet smells after u flush it -carbonara pasta was too buttery in our opinion

Too much noise”

We spend four nights at 7seas but there were parties in the near area 3 of the nights we spend there, which meant a LOT of noise. 7Seas took no responsibility at all, although we did not know this before booking. One night we did not sleep at all. The location is perfect for Gili Air, but the rooms are a bit dusty and our toilet smelled really bad. Shower is fine, no salt water. Staff was okay but we have met much nicer people in other hotels. All in all I would not come back here.
